Job Description:
My client is looking for a talented and experienced Actuary to join their team. This role will focus on pricing and reserving for our property & casualty products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in actuarial science, excellent analytical skills, and a commitment to professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain pricing models for property & casualty insurance products.
- Perform reserving analyses to ensure adequate reserves are maintained.
- Analyze data to identify trends and provide insights to support pricing and reserving decisions.
- Collaborate with underwriters, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and competitive pricing.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of pricing and reserving models and make necessary adjustments.
- Prepare and present reports on pricing and reserving strategies and outcomes to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in pricing within the insurance industry.
- At least five exams passed towards ACAS designation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in actuarial software and tools.
