The Role
Our client is seeking a talented Business Analyst and Application Support Specialist to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will:
- Analyse business requirements for their proprietary trading and risk management systems.
- Provide daily support to users, addressing queries and troubleshooting issues.
- Monitor and manage scheduled tasks, resolving any errors that arise.
- Handle ad-hoc requests related to new user onboarding, product launches, and system integrations.
Requirements
- Experience with trading software, particularly in areas such as PnL, risk management, market data, and trade processing.
- Excellent communication skills to support users, liaise with vendors, and train internal teams.
- Knowledge of the trade lifecycle and its impact on trading and risk management processes.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage complex situations.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on long-term solutions.
- Attention to detail in documentation and post-incident analysis.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with trading platforms like Murex, Calypso, Orchestrade or similar.
- Familiarity with market data tools such as Bloomberg or Reuters.
- Knowledge of electronic trading platforms and FIX protocol.
