Job Description:
A leading financial institution is looking to add a C&I Senior Portfolio Manager to its Commercial Lending team. As a C&I Senior Portfolio Manager, you will play a pivotal role in this process of underwriting a variety of loans across the Commercial & Industrial sector. The C&I Senior Portfolio Manager will help bolster the corporate loan business by assessing financial information for both public and private companies and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to evaluate loan risks.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of financial information to recommend approval or denial of new loans.
- Comprehend the dynamics of publicly traded entities, stock prices, and history of capital raises.
- Understanding of warrants and their integration into the loan structure.
- Prepare and present analyses and recommendations to the designated committee for final approval.
- Engage with clients, Business Development Officers, team members, and external parties to gather all necessary information for a complete loan evaluation.
- Maintain professional communication with clients, colleagues, and other relevant stakeholders.
Candidate Should Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of five years' underwriting experience in Finance, Commercial Lending, or a related field in a significant financial institution.
- Solid knowledge of commercial banking credit policies, financial statement analysis, loan structuring, cash flow analysis, and attention to detail.
- Advanced understanding of accounting principles, tax return analysis, corporate debt structuring, and interpreting balance sheets, income statements, projections, and cash flow.
- Strong oral and written communication skills in a commercial banking setting.
- Proven track record in report completion and successful transaction approvals.
- Effective business and professional writing skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
