A global investment bank has launched a greenfield initiative and is in the early stages of transforming their electronic and quantitative trading platforms. The firm is looking to hire multiple experienced builders who are passionate about high-performance technology and are comfortable working in small, focused teams on high-visibility projects.
This is a truly exciting and unique opportunity, as investment banks rarely have greenfield initiatives as their systems are often decades old. Given the nature of this project, they are looking to hire talented C++ developers who have previously built foundational technology and sophisticated platforms.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience coding in C++
- Experience building high-performance transactional and/or data analytics systems
- Experience building distributed services
- Understanding of network fundamentals and database technologies
The interview process is very streamlined and will consist of a call with the firm's head of e-trading, followed by a onsite interview where you will meet several members of the team and take two tests, one on system design and the other on problem-solving skills
