A client of ours, who is multinational and well-established insurance group is seeking a compliance manager to further strengthen their team in Wiesbaden. You would be reporting directly to the Head of compliance and work in a dynamic team with an excellent working environment.
Responsibilities:
- Identify any gaps in the current regulatory framework of the group and update it in accordance with the regulator.
- Further development, communication and monitoring of guidelines, standards and policies for compliance issues
- Support the group on the first, second and third line of defence.
- Implement the newest ESG laws to the framework.
- Deliver compliance training to the staff.
- Communicate and cooperate with the authorities, law firms, and auditing companies.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience in compliance within Financial Services.
- Demonstrated the ability to work independently and implement necessary changes to existing compliance policies.
- Fluency in German and English.
- Ability to think critically and quickly recognize potential issues in complex topics.
