We are currently working with a company that cover the dynamic Initial Public Offering (IPO) markets, including traditional IPOs and SPACs The team looking for a motivated Data Analyst to join offering significant growth opportunities as they expand their asset class coverage. This role is to be based in Brazil and is a fully remote role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyse SEC filings (including 10-Ks).
- Extract relevant data from financial filings, company documents, and SPAC products.
- Manage and maintain the internal database.
- Compile data into actionable insights and reports for clients.
- Collaborate with team members and provide data support for research and reporting.
Tech Skills:
- Experience with Metabase (no-code BI tool) for data exploration and report creation.
- Airtable or Excel for data organisation and analysis.
- Familiarity with SQL is a plus but not required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or related discipline.
- 1-3 years of experience in finance, ideally in financial or data analysis, investment banking, or buy-side roles.
- Strong understanding of capital markets, IPOs, and SPACs.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as in a collaborative team environment.
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with Bloomberg or similar platforms is a plus.
