Our current client, a Super ManCo is seeking an experience Data officer to streamline fund distribution, boost transparency, and enhance marketing processes. They are a fully licensed AIFM & UCITS ManCO, headquartered in Luxembourg, with offices across the EU!
In this role, the candidate will engage with data vendors and clients to gather static, dynamic, and regulatory data and documents - with a focus on dynamic data, they will assist the team in enhancing and developing dynamic data in partnership with team members and management.
The Role:
- Evaluate and enhance data profiles with data vendors
- Foster relationships with data vendors and distributors
- Manage data ingestion for client delivery and projects
- Investigate regulations and financial industry trends
- Collect data through daily, weekly, and monthly controls
- Conduct data control and maintenance, including spot checks
- Distribute data and perform ex-post controls
- Provide client support and management in collaboration with the team and management
- Report on milestones of current projects and future developments related to dynamic data
- Act as the company's data expert, understanding all aspects of data partners, and managing data ingestion, validation, and processing
The Candidate:
- Extensive experience in data and dynamic data within a financial institution or a significant databas
- 2+ years of experience in a data environment role
- Knowledge of the fund industry and official fund documents
- Master's degree in Finance, IT or equivelent
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with prospects
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Fluency in English, and proficiency in French or German, or additional languages are a plus
