About the Firm:
A well-established family office-backed real estate investment firm is seeking a Director of Capital Raising & Investor Relations to lead investor engagement and fundraising efforts across Europe. With a strong presence in value-add real estate (refurbishments, redevelopments, and repositioning), the firm operates on a deal-by-deal structure but is in the process of setting up a dedicated fund.
With $6B AUM globally and €500M in Europe, the firm partners with family offices and high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) to co-invest in attractive real estate opportunities. This role is key to managing existing investor relationships and driving new capital commitments for upcoming deals.
The Opportunity:
This is a senior, high-impact role for a proven fundraiser with strong family office relationships. The ideal candidate will be responsible for both capital raising and investor relations (IR), ensuring ongoing engagement with investors while securing new commitments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Capital Raising: Secure equity commitments from family offices and HNWIs across Europe for real estate deals.
- Investor Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for European investors, managing relationships and providing updates on existing investments.
- Strategic Growth: Work towards setting up a real estate fund alongside existing deal-by-deal investments.
- Global Coordination: Collaborate with US-based capital raisers to align fundraising strategies and explore cross-border investment opportunities.
- Market Expansion: Develop and maintain relationships with investors in key markets-UK, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and France.
Your Profile:
- 7-10 years of experience in capital raising, investor relations, or business development within real estate private equity, private credit, or alternative investments.
- Established network of family offices, HNWIs, and private investors in Europe.
- Proven ability to raise capital.
