Working with a prominent American Investment Bank growing rapidly across America and Canada. Currently they are actively building out a first line liquidity team in their Tampa office and are looking to hire a Director of Liquidity Management to come lead the team.
Responsibilities
- Enhances corporate treasury liquidity capabilities, focusing on cash flow forecasting, liquidity stress testing, collateral management, intraday liquidity reporting, and contingency funding planning.
- Engages with internal business units, senior management, and external consultants to align with regulatory requirements for firms exceeding $100 billion in assets. Interacts with regulators for examinations.
- Prepare analyses and reports for executive leadership and management committees, providing strategic insights and recommendations on liquidity planning.
- Oversees business-as-usual liquidity processes, manages initiatives, and provides leadership in resolving complex issues, demonstrating strong project management and interpersonal skills.
- Monitors evolving regulatory requirements, assists in major change initiatives, interfaces with regulators, and may oversee direct reports to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Deep knowledge of liquidity risk management, financial analysis, and risk mitigation strategies, with an understanding of financial markets and regulatory expectations for Large Financial Institutions
- Strong ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and develop recommendations, with proficiency in Excel for modeling, forecasting, and process improvement.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present insights, partner across functions, and interact effectively with senior management and regulators.
- Proven ability to work independently, lead teams, resolve complex issues, and drive strategic initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
