Our Client, A leading Investment bank is looking to add a talented Equity Financing Trader in London. The successful candidate would be responsible for executing trades, managing risks, and fostering client relationships. Collaborate with teams across the bank to ensure efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute trades in TRS, SBL, and collateral swaps.
- Build and maintain client relationships.
- Collaborate on financing strategies with Equities Derivatives team.
- Implement risk management strategies.
- Oversee operational aspects of trading book.
- Liaise with support functions for reporting and analysis.
Experience:
- 4-6 years trading experience in SBL/TRS.
- Strong understanding of SBL/TRS and regulatory landscape.
Preferred:
- Experience in Equity TRS or TRF trading.
Skills and Competencies:
- Proficiency in trading SBL, Collateral Swaps, and TRS.
- Exposure to Agent Lenders, Broker/Dealers, and Real Money accounts.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with problem-solving abilities.
- Technical proficiency in trading platforms.
Education / Qualifications:
- Degree from a top-tier institution.
- Regulatory (FCA) Certification preferred.
Personal Requirements:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Self-motivated and decisive.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
