Responsibilities
- Create and maintain detailed financial models
- Assist in identifying and evaluating trade ideas
- Prepare presentations and make recommendations to Portfolio Manager on investment opportunities
- Work on ongoing management of these investments
Position Requirements
- 2+ year's work experience, preferably in Equity Research
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or the Applied Sciences is preferred
- Understanding of financial markets
- Must have excellent quantitative and written/verbal communication skills
- Ideal candidates can both self-manage and work within a team
- Must be highly organized and possess excellent time and project management skills
- Intellectually curious candidates are preferred, possessing a desire for learning and seeking exposure to new concepts
- Candidates must be dynamic problem solvers who have the ability to manage high pressure situations and time constraints
