Job Title: Executive Support Engineer
Comp: 200-450k total (base+bonus) + additional benefits
Location: In office 5x a week based in Manhattan midtown
Summary: The hedge fund is looking for an Executive Support Engineer to provide world-class support to the office of the Chief Executive Officer. This person will be responsible for delivering and supporting the latest technology while maintaining a high level of reliability. To be successful, this person must show initiative and proactiveness, be motivated by technology and customer service, and have great attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Providing excellent, white-glove, VIP customer service interactions
- Troubleshooting technology issues related to hardware, software, user accounts, trading environments, operating systems, and mobility
- Identifying, diagnosing, researching, tracking, and resolving complex technical problems
- Providing support for onsite/offsite presentations, events, and meetings
- Travel domestically to provide executive support on occasion
- Provide 24x7 on-call support in an on-call rotation
- Interacting professionally with internal customers and demonstrates key client service traits (e.g., responsiveness, attentiveness, composure, attention to detail, proactiveness)
- Working at a global hedge fund
- Delivering and working in an urgent and mission critical environment with a high sense of urgency
Requirements:
- Adapting quickly to a new and changing technical environment
- Engaging in technical collaboration with other Infrastructure and IT business groups
- Influencing and collaborating with other technical teams in the pursuit of resolving complex technical issues.
- Creating and executing detailed plans around executive-level projects resulting in highly effective and efficient delivery of technical solutions.
- Establishing trust and maintaining a high level of confidentiality for all VIP tasks.
- Communicating effectively with a wide range of audiences (technical and non-technical, staff and managerial), and in a wide range of settings (in-person, small group, on the phone and via Slack or e-mail)
