My client located in New York City, is seeking a motivated and experienced professional to join their Financial Institutions Group (FIG) as an Investment Banking Sr.Analyst/Associate. With a strong legacy of delivering innovative financial solutions and strategic advisory services to clients in the financial sector, they are committed to driving excellence and shaping the industry landscape. As a Sr.Analyst/Associate in the FIG Investment Banking division, you will play a critical role in executing complex transactions, building client relationships, and contributing to the growth of the firm.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate the execution of various financial transactions
- Manage due diligence processes, financial modeling, valuation analyses, and preparation of transaction documents
- Cultivate and nurture relationships with senior clients, including executives from banks, insurance companies, asset managers, and other financial institutions
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to evaluate potential transactions, assess valuation scenarios, and analyze financial impacts
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive dynamics affecting the financial services sector
- Collaborate with senior team members
- Supervise and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support in their professional growth and development
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus
- 3-5 years of experience in investment banking, with a focus on financial institutions or FIG
- Strong understanding of financial products
- Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and financial statement analysis
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact confidently with clients and senior stakeholders
- Demonstrated leadership qualities, including the ability to manage and mentor junior team members
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
