A top International Bank is looking to bring in a MD, Global Head of Audit Practices to develop, maintain, and execute methodologies across the firm. This is a high visibility role and you will be responsible for working closely with key stakeholders / senior management to ensure compliance, facing off against the regulators, and the development and training of all methodologies across the firm. Ideal candidates will have 12+ years of experience in Audit / Risk & Controls at large financial institutions, experience working closely with Regulators & Executives, and CPA, CA, CIA certifications are required. This role can sit in NY, Boston, or Toronto.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain methodologies, practices, and procedures for firm-wide audits
- Organize and plan for large complex audits which includes but is not limited to: defining the audit scope, identifying key controls, leading risk assessments, and executing testing
- Communicate findings, reviews, and suggested actions plans to senior management
- Work closely with the regulators and ensure responses, reviews, and reporting communicated on time
Qualifications:
- 12+ years of experience in Audit or Risk & Controls at a large financial institution
- Proven experience working with Regulators, Executives, and Key Stakeholders across the firms
- Excellent organization and multitasking skills and the ability to oversee multiple groups, teams, and audits
- CPA, CA, CIA certifications are required
