We have an exciting opportunity for with a dynamic and growing asset management firm specializing in Private Credit. With approximately 500 million in active assets under management and a strong presence in Southern Europe, the firm is poised for significant growth and expansion.
As a Head of Business Development, you will play a crucial role in expanding the investor base and driving fundraising efforts. You will work closely with a dedicated team to develop and execute fundraising strategies, identify and engage with potential investors, and leverage existing relationships to attract new investors.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Driving fundraising efforts for discretionary funds, ensuring alignment with the investment criteria and goals of our co-investors.
- Identifying and engaging with potential investors in Italy, other European markets, and the US.
- Communicating the value proposition of investing in European assets to a diverse range of investors.
- Frequent travel to meet with investors and partners.
Key Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7-10 years (or relevant) experience in fundraising, sales, asset management, or a related field.
- Proven track record of successful fundraising and sales efforts.
- Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Deep understanding of the asset management industry and familiarity with the regulatory environment in Europe and the US.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Italian is helpful.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA) are a plus.
