Position: International Legal Counsel
Location: Baden-Württemberg, Germany
A globally leading supplier of plants, equipment, and services across various industries, including hydropower, metals, pulp & paper, and industrial automation, is seeking an International Legal Counsel to support its international operations.
Role Overview:
As part of the legal team, you will handle contracts for domestic and international supply-related projects, focusing on:
- Negotiating complex project transactions.
- Managing significant commercial disputes and litigation.
- Providing robust risk assessments to business teams.
- Collaborating across European offices with a primary focus on the local business in Germany.
This role involves working on large infrastructure projects and public tenders in dynamic, multi-sector teams.
Key Requirements:
- Fully qualified lawyer (e.g., German second state examination or equivalent) OR holder of an LL.M. degree with strong commercial expertise.
- 3-6 years of experience in a reputable law firm or international corporation.
- Experience with infrastructure projects is a plus.
- Familiarity with FIDIC (Yellow Book).
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and contract management skills.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); German is a bonus; French is a significant advantage.
