A large equities focused hedge fund in NY is looking to bring on an analyst focused on covering names across the Chemicals sector.
Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed research on companies and the Chemicals sector by researching, reading financial statements & market data, interviewing management team meetings etc.
- Provide L/S recommendations to Portfolio Managers
- Monitor existing portfolio holdings
Requirements
- At least 3-5 years of experience investing in chemicals (buy or sell side)
- Experience with cyclical investing is also preferred
- Ability to evaluate and cover both public and private companies preferred
