We're seeking dynamic individuals to bolster our ranks and lead the charge in "Know Your Customer" (KYC) and "Know Your Transactions" (KYT) analysis for our Enterprise and Public high-risk clients. Responsibilities
- Implement (enhanced) due diligence measures for high AML risk enterprise and public legal entities, each presenting varying levels of complexity.
- Independently gather KYC documentation for these clients from public sources, corporate registries, and specific KYC databases.
- Collaborate with bankers and servicing officers to obtain any missing KYC documentation.
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of KYC data pertaining to these clients within internal systems.
- Contribute to the KYC assessment and decision-making process regarding these clients, considering factors such as sanctions, connections with country watch lists, adverse media coverage, UBO registers, PEP lists, and alike.
- Conduct post-transactional analysis (KYT) of high-risk clients, conducting internal and external research to justify transactions or identify transactional patterns, particularly in relation to high-risk countries.
- Escalate significant screening, KYC, and/or KYT findings to the dedicated Compliance team.
- Act as the primary liaison with Business Units and internal stakeholders regarding the KYC status of these clients.
Skills & Qualifications
- Hold a Master's degree or equivalent, preferably in economics or law, with 3 to 4 years of experience in AML/KYC/audit processes.
- Possess knowledge and experience with KYC-KYT processes associated with enhanced due diligence for high-risk clients, or familiarity with risk, compliance, KYC, KYT, AML processes.
- Demonstrate a strong interest in first-line defense KYC-KYT processes, particularly in combating money laundering, and a desire to advance in this field within the banking sector.
- Exhibit flexibility in job requirements and excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
- Fluent in either Dutch or French, with a good understanding of the other language, and advanced proficiency in English.
