The company has experienced steady growth and is looking to appoint a Managing Director to lead the Luxembourg office.
As the new Managing Director, you will take responsibility for leading the Luxembourg office and managing the full range of fiduciary and trust services offered by the firm. With overall responsibility for the day-to-day operations, you will be expected to oversee a talented team of professionals, ensure strong relationships with clients, and maintain the company's high standards of governance and compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the Luxembourg office, setting the strategic direction for growth and operational excellence. Manage senior management and work closely with the Swiss headquarters to align Luxembourg operations with global objectives.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Luxembourg office, ensuring that fiduciary and trust services are delivered efficiently and in full compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Lead and mentor the Luxembourg team, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.
- Maintain and develop relationships with high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and institutional clients, ensuring a tailored approach to fiduciary and wealth management needs.
- Provide expert guidance and advice on various trust and fiduciary structures, ensuring a deep understanding of both domestic and international clients' needs.
- Ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements in the Luxembourg market, maintaining strong governance practices.
- Collaborate with senior management, including global stakeholders, to ensure the business is effectively managed and positioned for long-term success.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in fiduciary and trust services, with a deep knowledge of the funds industry and all types of fiduciary structures (e.g., family trusts, foundations, asset protection, estate planning).
- Proven track record in senior leadership roles, with strong experience in managing teams, client relationships, and operational functions.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, governance, and compliance practices, particularly in Luxembourg and Switzerland.
- Expertise in managing a range of fiduciary structures for high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and institutional clients.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to drive growth while ensuring high standards of client service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across various stakeholder groups.
- Fluency in English is required, additional languages (especially French or German) are beneficial.
