The are seeking a Market Placement Manager. In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping insurance strategies and ensuring client's needs are met with the best possible coverage. You will also mentor producers, helping them develop their skills and knowledge, and create strong carrier relationships, directly impacting the success of the business. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with sales associates to understand client's commercial insurance needs.
- Prepare and submit insurance applications to carriers, and respond to inquiries.
- Negotiate terms with carriers on behalf of clients.
- Finalize marketing efforts and create proposal presentations.
- Bind coverage and manage client onboarding.
- Stay informed about insurance markets and trends.
- Build and maintain relationships with carrier underwriters.
- Act as a technical expert on market trends and underwriting policies.
- Ensure accuracy in the agency management system.
- Keep up-to-date with industry changes, new products, and technology.
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in commercial property & casualty insurance.
- Comprehensive knowledge of insurance coverages, underwriting, and rating.
- State Property & Casualty insurance license required.
- Ability to handle complex tasks with various variables.
- Proficiency in internet-based programs and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Managerial experience preferred but not required.
- Industry designations (ARM, CIC, CPCU) preferred.
- Knowledge of EPIC is a plus.
- College degree preferred.
