We are seeking a Pig Iron Trader who will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and selling pig iron on a global scale. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the pig iron market, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and customers. This role requires a deep knowledge of market trends, pricing strategies, and logistics to ensure profitable transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Analysis: Monitor global pig iron markets, including supply and demand dynamics, pricing trends, and competitor activities, to identify trading opportunities.
- Sourcing: Identify and establish relationships with reliable suppliers of pig iron, ensuring the consistent availability of quality materials at competitive prices.
- Sales & Negotiation: Develop and manage customer relationships, negotiate sales contracts, and close deals to achieve revenue and profit targets.
- Contract Management: Draft, review, and manage contracts with suppliers and customers, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Logistics Coordination: Work closely with the logistics team to coordinate the transportation, storage, and delivery of pig iron to ensure timely and efficient fulfillment of orders.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports on market conditions, trading activities, and financial performance for senior management.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in commodities trading, with a strong focus on pig iron or related ferrous metals.
