Expectations of the role:
- Develop and implement underwriting processes to evaluate the risk associated with private credit transactions.
- Proactively identify and source new private credit opportunities through market research and relationship building.
- Developing relationships with clients and identifying potential investment opportunities
- Conducting thorough research on market trends, industry developments, company financials etc.
- Assessing risk management strategies associated with different investment options
- Collaborate with the deal team to structure and negotiate credit terms that align with the company's risk appetite.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in private credit, leveraged finance, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
- Proven track record of successfully sourcing, structuring, and closing private credit transactions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Leadership experience with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field. Advanced degree (MBA, CFA) preferred.
- French speaking preferred
