Quantitative Developer (Python) - Prop Trading
Position Overview: We are seeking a talented Quantitative Developer (QD) to join a world class prop trading firm in their dynamic trading team. This role involves supporting the research and trading infrastructure, with a focus on enhancing the production environment for their researchers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science, with proficiency in Python and beneficial knowledge of C++. Experience with machine learning tools is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the trading stack, ensuring robust and efficient performance.
- Collaborate with world-class researchers to generate trading signals and improve the platform.
- Support the research and trading infrastructure, optimizing processes and workflows.
- Implement and enhance algorithms for various asset classes, with a preference for statistical arbitrage strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science from a top-tier engineering school. A dual background in Mathematics and Computer Science is ideal.
- PhD candidates are welcome if they are specifically interested in a Quantitative Developer role.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in a buy-side environment; candidates with 10+ years of experience will be considered if justified.
- Strong programming skills in Python; knowledge of C++ is beneficial.
- Familiarity with machine learning tools and techniques is a plus.
- Experience with any asset class, with a preference for statistical arbitrage strategies.
