- Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience on a DeFi trading desk, with a demonstrated track record of developing and implementing high-performance decentralized exchange (DEX) arbitrage trading strategies.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy algorithms tailored to DeFi markets, leveraging cutting-edge arb strategies.
- Create and optimize smart contracts for on-chain execution of trading strategies, focusing on gas efficiency, execution speed, and security.
- Interact with major blockchain protocols (e.g., Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, Polygon, Solana) and DEX platforms (e.g., Uniswap, SushiSwap, Curve, Balancer) to enable seamless strategy execution and liquidity management.
- Build and maintain robust infrastructure for real-time monitoring of blockchain activity, identifying arbitrage opportunities, and executing trades with minimal latency.
- Conduct in-depth performance analysis and simulation of trading strategies using historical on-chain data and blockchain analytics tools.
- Collaborate with researchers to integrate quantitative models, including pricing algorithms, market signals, and statistical techniques, into smart contract logic.
- Ensure the robustness and scalability of trading systems, incorporating features such as fault tolerance, automated failover mechanisms, and dynamic parameter adjustments.
- Develop tools for automated wallet management, gas optimization, and on-chain transaction batching to reduce operational overhead.
- Stay abreast of emerging blockchain technologies, protocols, and DeFi trends, and propose innovative solutions to maintain competitive advantages.
Requirements
- Advanced proficiency in JavaScript and Python for both on-chain and off-chain application development, with a strong emphasis on performance and modularity.
- In-depth experience with Solidity and Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) smart contract development, including deploying and interacting with smart contracts on mainnet and testnets.
- Solid understanding of DeFi protocols, tokenomics, and mechanics of liquidity pools, automated market makers (AMMs), and yield farming strategies.
- Familiarity with low-latency systems and high-performance computing paradigms for real-time blockchain data ingestion and decision-making.
- Strong mathematical foundation, particularly in statistical modeling, numerical optimization, and time-series analysis, for refining algorithmic strategies..
- Comprehensive understanding of blockchain security, cryptographic principles, and threat mitigation techniques to ensure the safety of deployed systems.
