About the Position
We are seeking a Compliance Officer to join our Compliance team, reporting directly to the Chief Compliance Officer. Your day-to-day tasks will involve a variety of compliance activities, including providing guidance and support, regulatory reporting, performing controls, delivering training, and overseeing numerous other tasks to ensure the effective execution of the compliance plan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out the annual compliance plan, including controlling activities, risk assessments, and training initiatives.
- Developing the compliance management framework, including drafting and updating internal policies and procedures.
- Provide guidance and support to internal teams on compliance-related matters.
- Stay up to date with regulatory developments through horizon scanning.
- Prepare reports, including those for senior leadership & board of directors.
- Keep track of regulatory changes and share relevant insights across the organisation
What We're Looking For:
- A degree in law or a related field.
- Professional experience in a regulatory or financial environment.
- Experience in risk management and conducting controls is a bonus
- A team-oriented individual with excellent communication skills, able to engage with diverse internal and external stakeholders
- A proactive attitude, with the ability to take ownership of assigned tasks and drive them forward independently
