Position Overview:
The team is looking for a Senior Associate or Vice President in Investment Banking with a strong background in the technology and B2B software sectors. This is an exciting opportunity for a high-performing professional to join a dynamic team focused on delivering sophisticated financial advisory services to a range of clients, including startups, mid-market companies, and large corporations in the tech industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage key client relationships in the technology and B2B software sectors.
- Oversee financial modeling, valuation, and due diligence processes for M&A transactions, capital raises, and strategic advisory engagements.
- Prepare pitch materials, presentations, and other client deliverables.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to define transaction strategy and execution plans.
- Mentor and manage junior team members, fostering their development and ensuring high-quality work output.
- Support the execution of mergers and acquisitions, private equity raises, and strategic advisory mandates.
- Contribute to business development efforts, identifying new opportunities and fostering relationships within the tech and B2B software markets.
- Work closely with internal teams, external advisors, and clients to ensure seamless transaction execution.
Qualifications:
- 5 - 8 years of experience in investment banking, with a focus on technology, software, or B2B sectors.
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
- Proven experience in managing and executing M&A transactions.
- Ability to work independently and lead projects with minimal oversight.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with clients, senior executives, and team members.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field (MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred).
- Must be willing to work on-site in San Diego, California.
