Location: Chicago, IL
Salary: $150,000-$225,000, plus annual discretionary bonus
A trading firm in Chicago is seeking a highly skilled Trading Engineer to join their team.
What you'll do:
- Designing robust Kubernetes clusters that can handle demanding trading applications.
- Monitor trading system performance to ensure maximum efficiency and uptime during market hours.
- Provide support to traders, and developers to resolve day to day trading application outages
- Crafting automation tools or scripts using Python to streamline operations within the tech stack.
- Partner with teams across the firm to ensure trading systems are running optimally.
What you'll need:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps Engineering, or Application Support
- Expertise in Kubernetes, python for automation, and extensive experience working with bare metal linux environments
This role must sit in the firms Chicago office working in person.
